How can i get screws out of my laptop? they won't budge?
I need to take out 2 screws to add another 1GB of ram.
I think i have the right size screwdriver, but when I try to unsrew it, it won't budge, and then the screwdriver slips out.
The screwdriver is only a cheap one, will it help if i have a jewlers screwdriver or something?
Any other tips on how i can get out a tight screw?
if you suspect it's the screw driver, i suggest you change it (i doubt you'd need a fancy screw driver though) i would make sure to be firm and gentle but not too forceful. you might actually damage the screw (and wear out the screw tip) which will leave you to be SOB you'll end up needing to go to the repair center. they told me they have this special screw to take care of those or something like that. so if you think you can't get it, don't temper it with.
