Where to get laptop software to enable its fans?
I'm experiencing heat problems, the fans wont come on, but they do work and are sufficient size. Its the e-manager software that comes with the laptop thats broken not the fans. This software only kicks on the fans if I go in and disabled the fans and re-enable them.
Is there something else I can use? Acer's software for my travel mate 2200 just doesn't work as it should. I will give a best answer to anyone who knows. Please, only serious responses, don't tell me to just call tech support or re-download what the manufacture offers.
There is a program called Speedfan that allows you to control the speed of your fans, it works fairly well. It will also allow you to see the temperature of various components (if they are compatable) in your computer, such as your harddrive, and processor temp.
I use this program all the time when my computer is being used heavily by video editing programs.
