Is it advisable to buy a laptop with tv card?
Really what am planning to ndo is buy a laptop however most that i see with my kind of taste got a tv card though good config i may say like 2gb ram, 2.0gb processor, 160 or more hard drive...... Will you advise i go for it or just find a make with good config without a card. the brand is hp pavilion dv series. What brand of laptops do you rcommend in terms of durability, performance......
That's a good computer. The TV cards for Pavilions are easy to pull out and stick in the computer, they stick right in the express card slot. If you ever want to put something else in the slot (like a Verizon card), just stick it in your laptop bag till you need it. They can be freakin awesome, if you'll leave the computer near your entertainment center when your shows are on, just plug it in, and tell it to tape it.
HP lets you custom build the computers if you'd like, the configuration that you have already is pretty darn good, and you can decide if you want antivirus software, tv tuner, video editing software...
