What is AIT (35k) for the National Gaurd Like?
I'm looking in to joining the National Guard with 35K Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator as my MOS. I was wondering what was basic training like, Also what is AIT like? I believe there are going to send me to Ft. Huachuca, AZ 23 weeks, 3 days. Any information on the daily life in AIT or basic would be cool.I think i would be taking basic in Ft. Benning, GA.
Like do i have any freedoms? When i get to AIT can i have a laptop or something sent to me? Also is there a lot my male nudity in basic, I've heard from weird shit, like drill sergeants having you stand naked at attention. Most likely fake, or somebody making fun of service members, but just want to check in case.
You get freedoms in AIT the better you do, if your squared away, you get more freedoms. Even towards the end of basic training if you dont mess up you get some freedoms, not many since its still basic, but some. You shower naked, that aspect of nudity in basic, but you dont stand at attention naked, thats BS.
