Is a component video cable for connecting laptop to tv?
I have a component cable that came with a Qosmio laptop, and tried connecting it to the laptop to tv, but i dont get no image on the tv.Sam I doing something wrong or thats not a cable for what I want ?
yea the cable is blue, green. and red, and on the tv I put it on the component channel but all it says is no signal
You have the right cable but I'm guessing you are not setting your resolution to 800X600 or a low resolution so your tv will recognize the signal. Try right clicking on the desktop and than select properties and click settings than change resolution there. Make sure tv component input is set as well.
