Why does my xp laptop freeze on every 2nd hibernation?
Then I have to switch it off manually.
I think it is Lenovo and XP software clashing.
I use an IBM R52 laptop.
Any Ideas?
Hibernation is always an issue with laptops. I tell all my customers to not do it because it causes more issues. Better to shutdown when you are moving the laptop then there are not issues. If you keep hard resetting like this you will have issues with file corruption all too soon. It is just not worth the risks. How would you like windows to have to be totally reloaded in order for your computer to work again? Keep hibernating and it will happen. I have seen literally hundreds of such cases, dont be case 101
