Should I buy this laptop?

Its a used laptop (purchased march 14, 08) but its in mint condition.

Here are the specs:
Toshiba Satellite A215-S6816
Vista home premium
AMD Turion 64x2 dual core processor gold edition
3 gigs ram
250 gig hard drive
cd/dvd burner with Lightflash
web cam and mic

The man selling it has the original box and all of the accesories. He also has the original receipt, which says he paid nearly $1000 for it (laptop + extended warranty). The laptop is still covered with a 1 year warranty that lasts until march/2010. He is selling it for $450.

Is it worth it?
Or should I pass on this one?

ITS SELLING FOR $450, NOT $1000!

sounds like a deal to me, just make sure there arent any viruses on it. test out every application before you buy it if possible
