I have a an LG LW70 notebook w/ 17.1" monitor, what is the best resolution so my pictures don't look dwarf
My notebook is LG LW70 with 17.1" wide screen monitor with max. resolution of 1680x1050. Any picture as desktop background become dwarf if this is in stretch mode, tile mode or center mode.
You can easily work at a resolution of 1024*768 on a 17" monitor. I myself use a resolution of 1024*768 on my 17" Samsung Monitor. It looks best on it, but if it does look small to you, you can try it at 800*600 resolution. To set the resolution, right click anywhere in an empty space on your desktop and click properties, which will bring up the display properties dialog box, now navigate to the settings tab and there you will find the option to set your monitor resolution. After you apply it, you will asked to confirm the settings, click yes to apply the new settings, otherwise click no. Enjoy!
