How to get Blackberry 9700 indicator light to blink for text msg NOT email?
Recently, and for no apparent reason, my Blackberry 9700 red indicator light has started blinking when I get email. Prior to this, it only blinked when I had text messages.
I LIKED the old way! I don't need the light to come on when I receive email (which is too often). I have not changed any settings, so I don't know why it started doing it.
Can I get it to blink ONLY for text messages?
Profiles (sounds) icon - Set Ring Tones/Alerts - Messages
Select an e-mail address
Change LED to Off
Press the Menu key and select Save
You can turn the LED on or off for any message event
Comments
