How can I store large amounts of loose die-cast Hotwheels cars?
I have over 2000 loose die-cast (Hotwheels, Matchbox, etc) cars that need put away. I'm looking for some type of large case that can hold each car in an individual cell, I don't want to just dump them all in a big bin.
These are all standard sized (1:64?) cars.
What kinds of cases are available and where can I get them?
Why not use empty egg cartons? To store them, get a good sized plastic tote with a snap shut lid. I keep most of my HO railroad cars that way. Since some of the cars are longer than an egg carton I wrap them in acid free paper.
