what is the maximum extent to which i can upgrade a pentium 3, 450 mhz system?
i have a pentium 3 system.. my hard disk is 20 gb! ram is 192 mb and the speed is 450 mhz.. i have windows xp installed in it and it is extremely slow! i am thinking of upgrading! what is the maximum extent to which i can upgrade this system?? will it be okay if i change my ram alone to 640 mb? wil tat make the system faster?
Not sure but i'm guessing around 1 or 1.2 ghz, but it really doesnt matter because why bother?
1. You probably won't be able to find the parts
2. A complete p4 computer would probably cost around $40 or $50. Everything will be at least twice of what you have right now.
