Tablet PC is there a windows 7 version for the Tablet PC?
Also does anyone know of voice and text Tablet PC? you talk and it types ? Or you scan in text and change BMP file so you can work with text like change the font, color ,bold.highlight so on?
Also a good Tablet PC that has USB, firewire ,ports so on.Also is MS working on mini Office 2007 for the new tablet PC ?
I hear some Tablet PC have mini keyboard I want no mini keyboard .
I mostly deal with reading , writting , notes ,text , music and maps on the fly.
Your original question was asking if Windows 7 works for Tablet PCs. Windows 7 was /designed/ with Tablets in mind; it works better than Vista or anything of the like because of that. I just got my Tablet today and am downloading it as I already can't stand Vista.
The voice/text thing would be a program that uses a microphone, for any computer, not just a tablet. So search for programs that do that.
The scanning in text would be harder than simply writing on a screen as it's not going to read the pixels correctly, or at least not as easily as writing on the screen.
Right now I have the newest version of the HP tablet. It has three or four USB ports, pretty fast. Only thing that sucks is it's AMD.
Mini keyboard. Do you mean no number pad on the side? If you just mean the keys are smaller, my screen is 12.1" and it has a full laptop keyboard - meaning no numberpad, but the keys are normal size.
