Overclocking a mobile Pentium Dual-Core?
I currently have a 2.0GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core Sony VAIO, will I need a seperate heat sink fan if I overclock it up to 2.5 GHz and how can i overclock it?
Yes, you *would* need a larger heatsink and fan combination... unfortunately, no company MAKES larger replacement heatsinks for laptops.
Also, to be able to overclock, you would need a BIOS that offered overclocking options... which you don't have.
So, you can't overclock that laptop. Sorry.
