When was the Dell Inspiron 3800 Laptop (Model PPX) first available to the public?
I'm trying to get an estimate on the year the laptop in question was made available to the public. Someone told me 2002, but that didn't seem too right. It's a bit bulky to be a computer from around then. (But then again, I don't really use Dell products. I prefer HP.)
Go to this site and plug in the Service Tag number. It will give you the shipping date of the computer.
