Out at our RADIOSHACK there's a notebook I'm considering getting. It's a Compaq, it's 499.97

Is that a good deal? I'd like to know quickly, because I need to get it by 2morrow, and I'll probably go to bed pretty quickly, here.

i don't know much about prices--lol! I asked if I could get a MacBook for under 400.. 
That was BEFORE I knew "cheap" = "2,000" for a macbook..
This word in the laptop Celeron, would make me think twice,if you know anything about processors. If you looking for cheap that what your going to be getting, it not a bad price, but if you looking for reliability, look for a better processor as a Pentium or AMD. If it just for home use and nothing that will tax the system, then buy it.
