I am going to buy a notebook should i get Amd or Intel?
I am not sure.. but on im getting a notebook for college.. so basically aside from school work. im going to watch movies, play games and surf the internet.. which would be best for me to use intel or amd?
At the top of the line Intel outperforms AMD but if not concerned about getting the fastest machine possible you will find that AMD offers better performance on a budget.
Another area where most AMD systems seperate themselves from Intel is on the graphics side. Intel systems normally ship with onboard Intel graphics. AMD systems generally come with superior ATI graphics so unless you are buying a system with upgraded graphics then AMD proves to be the better value. Of course then again Intel systems usually come with Intel wifi while many AMD systems come with Broadcom. I've dones tests with both wifi cards and have found the Intel cards to have nearly 2x the range as BC.
In the end it doesn't much matter who makes the CPU because you're going to get plenty of performance from either manufacturer. Set a budget, get as much RAM as you can afford and don't overlook other features such as graphics, wifi and power consumption/battery life.
