Is it possible to have a flexible/thin computer screen ?
If not , why not?
My idea is to have a thin flexible screen that can be hooked up to say, my PDA with internet access provided by the PDA.
The screen would be larger than a PDA screen and allow for easier viewing when needed. It could be stored in a brief case or perhaps a notebook ...
Any reason why this is not possible? Does one exist?
The screen would simply be that a "screen" the source workings would be in the devise it is plugged into.
i don't think flexible screen is mass market yet... most are still in development... but you could try this... if your pda has AV out (built-in/optional), then buy a portable DVD player that has AV in... find the biggest LCD screen you could afford... the reason being that portable DVD has its own battery, so you don't have to worry about how to power your DVD screen...
