What parts will I need to put a notebook hard drive into a desktop?
My old laptop had a hardware problem. The hard drive is still good as far as I know and I would like to put it into my desktop PC. Can someone tell me what type of cable & possibly hard drive enclosure I will need to make this happen?

** Edited to add I would like to put the hard drive into the case and not use an external dock.
You can just buy yourself a 2.5 inch enclosure, this should do the trick you can use it as a external HDD if you like and connect the enclosure through a usb port. Laptop HDDs are 2.5 inch in size.
