move files from my notebook hdd to desktop?
I want to move files from my notebook HDD to my dasktop. Using a "IDE to USB" adapter, I connected HDD to desktop and saw message "mass storage drive installed." But I dont see the drive in "my computer," even in my disk manager.
any help ?

well. i have a problem with my notebook. after i see window logo, it dost not go further. thats why i want to transfer files before i reinstall window again.
i dont see anything in my device manager...
use a flash disk instead and transfer. it might not be as fast as your method but it works and youll have the same information on the flash disk.
