Help with Notebook Hard Drive!?
ok I ordered a laptop on ebay, made in 2005 Grade "B" condition
2.2GHZ 1GB RAM non working with battery and charger for $35. It was not susposed to come with a hard drive but it came with a 500GB Hard Drive.
So I found out that the motherboard wasn't "hooked up" right and it does work! Im so exited! but since it doesnt have an Optical Drive and no OS i have to hook it up to the PC using an IDE to USB cord to install an OS.
The hard drive came in a little thing that looks like a PCMCIA card and I was wondering, could I take it out? I don't want to break it
oh, I accidentally put 500 I meant 50
i'd take it into best buy or another computer store to ask them because every lap top is different and you could really break it
