Better Dell Studio for $100 more. There's going to be deals, so wait on the prices. The VAIO has sub-par parts, not worth $800.
I liked a wireless Microsoft mouse I had. It was the full-sized version of the Microsft mouse you listed. Worked great until I gave it away to someone. Still works after 3-4 years. $20 deal.
Go in a store and try the different brands. Comfort should overrule price or brand.
