Is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks worth reading?
I've seen the movie a dozen times and I love it. But, I've seen some very scathing reviews about the book being badly written and the characters flat. Do you think this book is worth reading? I'm undecided.
Also, is the movie a close version to the book?
The movie is close but it has stuff that doesn't actually happen. If you like the movie you probably won't like the book. I didn't like the book but I don't like any of Sparks' books. I think he is a horrible writer. He comes up with all these great stories to tell but writes them so poorly.
