my hp mini tablet notebook constatantly makes a beep and freezes and the only thing i can do is restart it. Its only 1 year only and it started happening about 6 onths ago and hp cant do anything about it as its over warranty. I have removed any programs not needed and any viruses and it still hasnt helped. Any advice please?
CHeck online on how to run diagnostics on your tablet and once you ran the diags then you can probably determine if it is a hardware or a software issue. It sounds like a hardware issue, so running diags will help you identify what`s wrong. Perhaps a hard drive (that would mean replacing the hard drive and then reinstalling OS if you don't have a restore disc). I would also try to go into SafeMode to see if you can get in and retreive your data, it probably would be F8 when you first turn it on.
