Laptop memory problems?
I've got a packard bell easynote g1340 laptop. the specs are as follows;
cpu-intel celeron m, 1.5ghz, FSB 400mhz, cache 512kb.
I have 1x 256mb(soldered-on, not upgradable), and one free slot that can support up to 1gb. I bought 1gb ddr pc2700 333mhz and installed it. Now every time I boot the laptop windows crashes. I have no idea what the problem is any suggestions????
Do i need the pc3200 400mhz instead? ive made sure i installed it correctly but is there any thing i can do to fix it or is it a wrong selection of memory?

windows runs fine once i remove it
