memory for old Toshiba laptop?
I want to get more memory for a Toshiba A40-4E4 from 2004, currently with only 256MB. Toshiba's page says it uses PC2100 DDR, up to 2GB, but should it be SODIMM? And should I be able to use PC2700 or PC3200? Do you just swap the memory and that's it?

As to the PC2700 versus PC3200, you can use the PC3200 as it is backwards compatible to PC2100. And yes, it would need to be SODIMM.
