Max FSB on ASUS P5Q Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo e8400?
Hi, i would like to know what is the highest FSB I could get with a P5Q Pro and a e8400...
I know the e8400 multiplier is at 9x and I know I can get to 400 with no efforts. I would like to get a little higher though but I have stock cooler (non-stock cooling is not an option). I have Kingston 1066 Mhz memory so I know I can get as high as 533 Mhz but... it probably wont go that high. Can someone please help me on how to get the highest FSB possible or simply what IS the highest STABLE fsb using this board. Any help would be really appreciated (sry for my bad english).
From what I've heard, 444mhz for 4ghz is pretty doable without messing with the voltages too much..
Hope this helps
Hongye
