my asus laptop screen has green nd purple lines everywhere!!?
well this isnt a permanent thing since it goes and comes but its been coming and staying for a long time now. what it is, is little green lines where black should be (large areas with black and it sometimes covers all black) and purple lines every where its white. for example right next to that line that u see before u type right next to that is a small purple line. i wanted to know if i can fix thjis in the computer or is it a manual thing?? it also looks like theres small dots in some white areas. anyways i want this to be fixed fast cause it hurts my eyes if i stare for too long (way shorter then it was before this problem started) and i would appreciate any ideas that doesnt incude going to fix it (dont have the money but if it has to be fixed manual plz say so)
theres only one suggestion i give you , try upgrading the graphics card drivers, but i seriously doubt thats gonna fix it.
its either your monitor is going splat, or your video card is going splat, you arent going to be able to fix this on your own.
if its video card that means a new motherboard.
if its monitor thats the entire top of your computer.
with the small dots dead pixels, im guessing monitor.
what you can do, is go to a friends and try using his/her monitor if that works then just go to a thrift store and get an old crt monitor for like 10-15$ sure you will have to use your laptop as a desktop that way but at least you will be able to use it.
