What can give better graphics in a laptop, an Intel GMA 4500M or an ATI Radeon HD 3200?
I am getting a laptop and 2 of the ones I am looking at have these. I wanted to know which will give better graphics. I know they suck, but I dont have that much. Can either of these perform well enough to support TES4:Oblivon or Fallout 3 on any settings? The processor and RAM will support.
Currently, the ATI HD 3200 is the best integrated graphics out there. There are some models that have dedicated RAM (known as SidePort), which is real graphics memory built in beside the HD 3200 chip. Assigning some extra regular memory is usually helpful also.
It will run most games if you turn down the resolution. It should run Oblivion fairly decently actually. As for Fallout 3, my guess is it would run it as Fallout apparently works on a discrete HD 2400 (the HD 3200 is comparable to this desktop part). You should ideally install it and give it a shot 
Older games should work fine (something like Half Life 2 for example).
