How much faster will an extra 1gb RAM make my laptop?
I've currently got 1gb RAM installed on my laptop and i play flight simulator and i only get 9 -12 fps my Video card is Ati Radeon Graphics 256mb and intel core duo processor T2080 -
Will i get more FPS ( frames per second) if i install another 1gb RAM or do you think i would be wasting my time

I don't think you will gain fps because that stems from your video card, however, I say add the ram and you will notice improvement throughout your computer.
Even Flight Simulator will show some improvement.
