wat is the highest ram a notebook with home ed XP can hold?
how much RAM can i put into my home edition XP acer D250 notebook
ok so if i put in 3GB how do i do that? i thought i could only put in two of the same amount in, so either 2 or 4, can i put in one 1 and one 2?
The proper answer is windows xp(all 32 bit editions) only acknowledge up to 3-3.5 gigs of RAM. XP 64bit handles up to 8.
EDIT: the specs I found on your model say the max out is 2 gigs for your netbook and that you only have 1 slot. So you would have to remove the current ram chip you have and replace that with a 2 gig DDR2 SDRAM. Assuming the model is: Acer Aspire One D250-1151 Netbook
