Used laptop or new netbook? Acer & Asus ok?
I am thinking of a budget of $300 (flexible). I would like a basic computer to check the internet and play old school games like red alert 2 and master of orion (thus windows xp, not vista).
I also would like a decent machine that can be transported around, won't give me any problems, and is reliable (aka, it won't break in 2 years).
I'm thinking I should just get a new netbook. I'm thinking of a brand name like Dell or Compaq...
Should I stay away from Acer and Asus if I want something reliable?

Asus, however, is the best laptop computer aside from Alienware.
