My Prima 37" lcd tv has like dark stains on the left side of panel, Looks like water stains?
ok my lcd screen has stains on the left side of the panel, a while back it was on the top panel, thats now has moved to the right side of the panel, very strange, looks like urine stains on a matress but it's black in color? looks like a cloud aprox. 3 inch wide at the high spot and about haly way down the screeen, very strange looking. I have no degaus option in the menu etc. because there is a pad lock on a section in the menu? any idea folks what this is, and any fix?

I need to know if there is a fix that I can do, since the Warrenty is void, I had bought this LCD from Someone. I heard of a software program that fix's burnt lcd's by repeatlly turning your lcd on and off for a period of time, I have a vag input and can hook up my laptop and use the screen as a monitor, I done it b4! amazing image lol I am unable to find the program, it was on tech TV with the older guy there from the org. ScreenSavers. Help!!!
Hi,
Your tv does not have degaus because it is not CRT technology, only CRT's have that option. Your LCD has got Liquid Crystal Display on the panel, and the stain might have to do with the Liquid coating. You know that all liquid move, so thats might be why the stain moves from one place to another. I hope you have waranty. This is a very rare problem with LCD displays and the other rare one is the burned pixels. If problems like that occurs, it needs to be repaired.
