If I use kill disk to wipe out my computer will i still be able to use my cd rom drive to reboot it?
I want to wipe out my computer completely and start over again. Currently I have windows 7 but I want to use windows xp like I had before. If I use kill disk to wipe it out will I still be able to use my cd rom drive to install windows xp? I have never used this program before and I am curious as to how it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you can boot from a CD / DVD even if there were no hard drive in the computer at all, if you had to. You just need to check the BIOS set up screen on boot up to make sure that the optical drive (CD drive) is first in the boot order.
