when i plug my samsung g600 into my laptop(vista) nothing happens. the computer doesnt recognise its there.?
so i downloaded the cd that came with it, it said that had worked but still nothing.
so i serched the net and i got this:
1. Install disc (DO NOT CONNECT PHONE TO PC JUST YET)
2. On your G600, go to 'Settings', 'Phone Settings', 'USB Settins', 'Mass Storage'
3. Connect your G600 to your PC
4. Go to My Computer, Removable Disc
There you go, drop and drag your files!
so i thought ok i'll follow them through.
but on my phone when i go to settings; phone settings; usb settings, it says to choose mass storage. but on my phone this option is greyed out and i cant choose it.
can someone help?

thats the thing though i cant go to mass storage.. its greyed out and wont let me!
the first thing i would do is check that the phone software is correctly installed.
also check that the mobile phone is compatible with vista. i don't know if it's relevant but i know that samsung's are not compatible with Macs so might be worth checking as what it is coming up to is what comes up when I try to do it.
if in doubt, just uninstall and start again.
