problem connecting my xbox 360 controller to my laptop.?
Ok so i have a wireless xbox controller that i am trying to sync to my windows laptop with vista 32-bit, i'm using a plug and play chrage kit to use the wireless controller as a wired controller. I've gotten the right files installed and everything just fine. when i start the controller the little icon pops up in the middle of my screen saying connection. My problem is if i go into the control panel and look at game controllers i cant get it to show up therefore i cant even use it. anyone know how to fix this?
apparently the issue is that the controller isnt actually connecting to the computer. is the pproblem that i just cant do this with the plug and play kit? cause i will be very sad
The play-n-charge kit does not send any signal. You need either a hard-wired 360 controller or one of the Wireless Receiver For Windows dongles. The link below will take you to the Wireless Controller for Windows page of Amazon because it is ~$10 cheaper than just the receiver and comes with it included.
