Dell "Multi-Touch LED" review? What's "SW" mean?
I was looking to buy a laptop, and chose as my base computer a Studio 17. It's only $200 to upgrade to an HD Multi-Touch LED with Truelife software. (with Camera, SW, and Facial Recognition.) Is this a quality touch-screen, and if so, what can you do on it. Can you do word processing? And What's SW stand for (I'm just curious)?
They mention it as Camera/Facial Recognition SW which probably stands for software. I have a Dell Latitude XT with a multitouch LED screen (the studio's lcd is probably not made by the same manufacturer) and it works well, you can interact with objects on the screen and use it like the iPhone only it doesn't have many apps. You can probably do word processing, but to me, I don't even use the touch screen that often.
