Is Intel GMA 950 good enough? Is Thinkapd Z61t a good notebook?
I wan to buy a Thinkpad Z61t 14.1" widescreen notebook and it only comes with Intel GMA 950. I don't really care about gaming. I am a big movie fan and want good quality video playback though. The system I am looking at is Intel Core Duo 2Ghz, 100GB HD (5400rpm), 1GB DDR2 (1 x 1, 667mhz), DVD Dual Layer Multiburner. Is it good that the screen isn't glossy? It's a WXGA (1280x768) screen. Will I regret purchasing an Intel GMA when Vista comes out? Would you configure the system differently? Is this a good computer in general and if not, any recommendations? I think I asked enough questions. I really appreciate the help.

gma 950 with 1 gig of ddr2 ram is sooper
gma allows upto 224 mb shared graphics, which is just fine
consider win xp media centre 2005, instead of win xp home
totally different experience
try a widescreen
mean 1280 x 800 option
if u'r waiting 4 vista,
wait 4 another year till vista is launched, vista is tested stable
then actual system requirements come out
& btw, why's u buying a 32 bit processor then

but i used 2 think thinkpads r rather overpriced
best, bury vista issue .... add complications
