Where is the PC port located on the laptop?
I just bought a Thermaltake BlacX eSATA & USB Docking Station to transfer some things from my old hard drive to my new computer. I hooked everything else up, except for the eSATA port to PC host. The eSATA is already plugged into the back of the HDD Docking Station, but it doesn't fit into any slots on my notebook. It kinda looks like a USB, but it doesn't fit into the USB slot. Here is a picture of the docking station:

What slot do I need to put it in? Do I need to buy something extra? Because if I do, I really wish Best Buy would have told me. = /
The notebook needs to have an eSATA port to plug it into. If you don't see it, it probably doesn't have it. Some notebooks have a combo USB/eSATA connector so check to see if it's labeled as "USB" or "USB/eSATA."
Note that your hard drive need only be connected by either USB or eSATA, not both at the same time. eSATA is way, way faster so use it if you can. If not USB, will work, but just take longer.
