Can I upgrade my Lenovo Thinkpad CD drive?
I was thinking about purchasing the Lenovo Thinkpad X61s. While customizing it, I noticed there were no options regarding the CD drive. I was just wondering, does it play DVDs? If not, can I upgrade it so that it WILL play them or will I be stuck with a boring, normal CD drive? Also, not only play DVDs, I guess, but also burn CDs, etc. If I can upgrade it at a later date to something better, great. If not, I'm a little iffy.
The ThinkPad X61s doesn't come with a CD Drive as standard; when customizing it on Lenovo's site, you can purchase the "Mobile media base" and get a CD-RW/DVD-Rom or a DVD Recorder drive for it.
