Quick Question About My Laptop...?
I heard a grinding sound when I applied pressure to the top plastic casing under keypad, and directly left of the touch pad on my Dell Inspiron 1525... (Where you would normally rest your palms when typing)
I was unsure what made the noise, and if it would have done harm to the laptop. It was only about a 5 sec window, but still.
Any info would be appreciated (>^_^<)
its either ur cd drive which is normallyto ur right... the hard drive is usually to the middle to left part directly under the keyboard.... I woul def get it checked out cuz once the hard drive s damaged ur screwed... you get it fixed, theirs a great possiblity ur keyboard is jut bent and applying prssure to ur hard drive....
if you have a cd inside and it grinds its not as $$$ cuz thatcould be fixed easily and is the cd drvie.. but if no cd insde and ustill hear it... its the hard drive scratching or tapping the roof of the hard dive case...
