Star Trek Nemesis questions?
1. I loved watching Riker and Troi finally getting married, but I thought Troi was in a relationship with Will Riker's alter ego Thomas Riker who should be serving another starship. What happened to Thomas Riker? Did I misinterpret the TV episode and when Thomas Riker left the two parted ways with each other?
2. When Picard and B4 are kidnapped onto Scimitar, it turned out that the enemy made a mistake and what he thought was B4 that he transported was actually Data, who made Picard's escape possible. How did Shinzon make such a stupid mistake to transport Data and not his own android (B4)?
3. When Reman ship Scimitar takes over Enterprise, why only such a small group of Remans come aboard? I mean the Scimitar is HUGE, like at least four times larger than Enterprise. They must have on board way more than a little team that they transported to Enterprise. What is the explanation for it?
First off al Nemesis was a terrible movie and that should say enough.
1) Tom Riker started to rekindle a relationship with Troi, but when we got his own assignment from Star Fleet he jumped at the chance to restart his career. When he left Troi realized that Tom was going to put if career first just like Will did. Tom appeared again on Deep Space Nine, and I believe was either killed or taken by Cardasions.
2) Data and B4 have the exact same body, the only difference is programing. As I recall Data removed some type of transmitter from B4 and put it on himself
3) Budget, the more Remen they show us means the that many more people they need to put into makeup.
