How can i alter the speed of my laptop cooling station's fan?
Its just a cheap pug in through the usb cooling station. But i would like to increase the speed of the fan as it runs silent and i would not mind it running faster, even if it makes noise.

You probably can't, but you could try to use a powered USB hub, which will provide more available amperage to the fan. You could also find an alternative source of power for it but soldering some wires together from an AC adapter and hooking that to a raw USB extension cord so you are able to directly control the power. You might have to tear apart the station to get past the processor and directly power the fans. I'd keep it pretty low voltage though, like 5-10v DC.
I'd also just buy a better station because it's probably pretty hard. Check instructables though.
