does any one know how well vista operates on the Sony-Vaio VGN-FJ370 notebook with the basic video card.?
i ran the vista upgrade advisor and it said that the aero /3D features might not funcion
and that it runs slower than xp.
any suggestion on whether i should upgrade or not
My advise would be to stay with XP unless you have a system that will make use of all Vista enhancements. It is fun to move to something new, but if your machine isn't totally capable of running Vista, it will only cause you frustration. Vista is still several months from being at its best anyway, so upgrading is really premature for most people. The only people who really should be running Vista at this point are those who have bought a new machine that is reconfigured to run Vista, and IT administrators who need to test it in the work environment for compatibility with their critical processes.
