Can a VGA to Component Video cable connect a Laptop to HDTV?
I have a laptop with VGA-out and a HDTV with Component Video-in. I bought a VGA to Component Video cable, connected it between my PC and TV, used the screen switch button, but both screens went black with a sort of blue square on the laptop monitor. Does anyone know why that might be?
If you have already got a VGA to Component Video adapter cable you may want to do a check with the laptop and another monitor.
