i bought a sony vio laptop, had it on for a few hours then it wouldn't shut down so i pulled the battery .?
i cannot get the power to turn on at all. i called support, they told me to pull the battery and unplug the power cord, replace the cord and push the on/off button 4 15 seconds....nothing.no power is getting to the laptop but the cord is ok cuz it fits an older model. does anyone know how to fix this problem without sending it in to the manufacturer? PLEASE! model vgnfw170j.
I also have a Sony VAIO (laptop) and although I don't know much about computers I can tell you I had a problem with mine and I didn't want to send it to the manufacturer either I just went here http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-contacts.pl? you can chat, email, or call for technical support, you just hav to check for your product and on the top it tells you which one you can contact because a few of them dont have chat or email, etc..... you jus tell them about the problem ur having and they'll help you, dont send it in before you kno wats really wrong hopefully you dont hav 2 send it in...my laptop speakers wouldnt work and i chatted with sum guy and he gave me some program to download and it works perfectly fine!
