How do I get my sound back for a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop?
My dad was cleaning my laptop and deleted off the sound. I have tried putting the discs that came with the laptop inside it, but they do nothing. How do I get the sound back without paying for it?! Please help! I need the sound badly!!
Go to your Dell site and enter your laptop I.D. number on the main screen and then go to the driver section on the Dell Site. Reload your drivers that you need there. Then Just make sure the sound isn't muted. Go to control panel and look for your speaker/ sound ICON. Good Luck..Don' t Panic, dad was just trying to help! LOL
P.S. Was the DVD turning or reading when you inserted your factory disk? You may need to download your DVD/CD drivers as well. Computers are just a game...See who beats who!
