How do I find out what my laptop warranty covers?
i got an HP laptop from college last year, and it seems like a piece of junk! it came with a 3 year warranty, and ive been having random issues since i got the thing. can i get a replacement for my laptop with the warranty? or is there somewhere i can go to see what it covers? i dont know the type of warranty, and i don't have papers other than the serial number and product number...
It really depends on where you got your warranty! If from the manufacturer and everything that is wrong with the laptop is the result of manufacturer defect, and you've had it serviced three times for the same issue - you may be able to get a replacement.
If the issue was caused by accidental damage and your warranty does not cover it - then you're out of luck.
