Where can I find harddrives for Apple Macbook?
I have an old white Apple MacBook. I have just recently been experience problems like 'your startup disk is full' and I want to add memory. However, there are alot of different harddrives on the Apple site. Can anyone give me the link to one I would need?
I only need about 50 GB more..
Are you considering an external drive? Most of those are Mac compatible, and you just hook up via USB. The Western Digital ones are great.
Keep in mind that if you have Mac OSX Leopard, you have a program called "Time Machine" which does an awesome job of backing up your files regularly. Unfortunately, if you decide to use your external hard drive for this purpose, it can ONLY work for Time Machine. You can't do partitions or anything like that. So if you want to use Time Machine *and* have extra storage, you'll need two external hard drives.
Of course, another option is to try to delete unnecessary files from your Mac. Are you aware of what's on there, and what's taking up so much space?
