My laptop will not connect to wireles router while all other devies will. HELP!?
Due to problem with an old router i got a new one. its a wireless N-150
the PS3 will connect
a desktop that is 4 to 5 years old ( vista) was able to connect
my old laptop ( using to post this) runs on vista 2 to 3 years old is connected.
the laptop with the problem is a windows 7 maybe a year old
every now and then when i trouble shoot it says DNS sever is having some kind of problem or not connecting.
sometimes is says device won't connect but the icon that show if there is a connection says its connected and with internet access.
all computer are getting internet but the laptop.
what can i do to fix it?
if it is the DNS sever how do i fix it? ( i tried going into properties and changing the IPv4 but it didn't work)
HELP?
Remove the prefered networks, change the tcp/IP to automatic and try connecting again. Make sure to type the correct web/wpa
