what square feet can wireless g cover?
i saw in wikipedia 802.11g's range has 40 meters which is 128 feet indoor and 95 meters which is 304 feet outdoor range; what is that translate into square feet?
i just want to know how many square feet can 802.11g cover;
I have never heard anything about how many square feet it can cover, but I'll give it a try.
I think the range is the radius of the wireless connection, so you can find the area by using the formula area=pi*radius square
Indoor area=3.14*40^2=5024 square meter
3.14*128^2=51,445.76 square feet
Outdoor area=3.14*95^2=28,338.5 square meter
3.14*304^2=290,186.24 square feet
